dosing pump

Grundfos offers a wide range of dosing pumps representing state-of-the-art technology. Digital Dosing solutions (SMART Digital, DME, DDI) set new standards in liquid chemical handling and accuracy.

The operator can easily install and set up the pump to discharge exactly the quantity of dosing liquid required for the process in a unique drive and flow control management concept. The setting of the pump is displayed in ml/h, l/h or gph, and the operation mode is easily identified by means of icons.

The DMH mechanical hydraulic dosing pump range is the preferred choice for industrial and complex tasks. The DMH range is a series of extremely strong, robust pumps for applications where a substantial dosing range and high pressure capabilities are required.

The DME Digital Dosing pumps combine perfect precision and userfriendliness for large dosing quantities from 15.9 to 248 gph, offering all the benefits of the highly acclaimed smaller Digital Dosing range, making accurate dosing easier than ever.

  • Wide dosing range with a turndown ratio of 800:1 for a range of water supply, wastewater and water treatment applications
  • Easy to install, the operator can set the pump to discharge exactly the quantity of dosing liquid required in the application
  • Available with Profibus interface to supply performance data and status information for quality control, preventive maintenance and future reference
  • The dosing heads of DME pumps are available in stainless steel, PVDF, and environmentally friendly, cost-efficient polypropylene
  • Simple display allows easy navigation of the menus to use the impressive range of standard control features—including pulse, analog, timer, batch, and anti-cavitation control—as well as simple calibration and much more
  • Anti-cavitation: slows down the suction stroke speed 75%, 50%, or 25%
  • to facilitate handling viscous fluids
  • DME uses a full stroke length every time, and the speed of each stroke is carefully timed, ensuring even concentration in the system and
  • optimal priming throughout the entire operating range.
  • Built-in overload protection monitors pump counter pressure and protects against exceptionally high pressure loads

  • Max flow – 248 US gal/hour
  • Head max – 145 psi
  • p max – 145 psi

  • Drinking water treatment
  • Water distribution
  • Wastewater transport
  • Wastewater treatment
  • Pulp and paper
  • Textile industry

The high-end DDA pump is designed as the perfect solution for complex and demanding applications. It handles degassing liquids without any problems thanks to its auto-deaeration feature – also during pump standby. The FC control variant offers FlowControl with selective fault diagnosis as well as builtin pressure monitoring, and the FCM control variant additionally offers integrated flow measurement and the AutoFlowAdapt feature which allows the pump to adjust pump speed to actual conditions. The pump offers batch modes (timer or pulse based) and can be delivered with an optional E-box for Profibus DP integration.

With CIU integration options and multiple built-in control and communication features, the DDA pump is the most advanced SMART Digital XL offering. Like the SMART Digital S DDA, it offers value-added features such as auto-deaeration and can be specified in control variants with FlowControl, built-in pressure monitoring and flow measurement, and AutoFlowAdapt. With accuracy that is unrivalled in this flow performance range, the DDA delivers safety, flexibility, and user friendliness for a wide range of applications.

  • Max flow – 53 US gal/hour
  • Head max – 233 psi
  • Liquid Temperature – 14 .. 122 °F
  • p max – 232 psi
